We sell a wide range of plants that are ideally suited to our local conditions.
Our plants grow in 50 x 50 x 120 mm square forestry tubes. Plants are propagated from seed or cutting in the spring; grown on over summer and are ready to plant from late autumn/early winter onwards. (For more about why we prefer to plant this size and age of plant click here.)
You can buy plants from us in one of two ways: either by placing an order or buying from existing stock.
(Please note that we do NOT have a nursery that you can visit.)
Placing an order
This is best for large orders and for when you want to make sure you get the plants you want. Orders need to be placed in the late winter or early spring of the year before you want the plants. We will then propagate and grow to your order. Plants are supplied for planting in the following year. So for example, if you place an order in October 2018, your plants will be ready in June 2019.
To place an order please contact Chris the Secretary on 0434 796 481 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Chris will take your details and arrange for someone to contact you to discuss and take your order.
Buy from existing stock
Every year we grow more plants than we have orders for. These plants are sold at markets, festivals and by arrangement. The plants are mostly groundcovers, small to medium shrubs and smaller trees suited to sub-urban environments. We grow some big trees and larger shrubs, but it is best to place an order in advance if you want large quantities of tall trees and big shrubs.
To buy some of these plants you can find us at a market or festival. Our calendar of events is here. Or, you can contact Chris the Secretary on 0434 796 481 or email@example.com. Chris will take your details and arrange for someone to contact you to discuss and take your order and work out how we’ll get your plants to you.
